CROMIER is the new brand born within Calzaturifio FRAU shoe factory, from the intuition of Filippo Pisani d’Arcano. A new collection of sports shoes with a strong identity: these 100% Italian sneakers cross the boundaries of sportswear to be worn on any occasion, even with a more formal outfit.
The FW2019 collection is characterized by the “sole carved in Carrara marble” which immediately evokes Italian art and beauty. The concept is reinforced throughout the advertising campaign in which the shoes are presented in combination with classic marble sculptures.
CROMIER collection plays on the contrasts and dualism between the marble sole and the colors / materials of the shoe. This marble sneaker is the perfect accessory for an eclectic personality who does not try to conform at any cost but wants to dare and show his uniqueness.
CROMIER marble sneakers’ appeal lays in the successful contrast between marble and bright colors. The shoes are characterized by layers of soft, shiny and precious textures and materials, such as satin, velvet and chamois but also net and neoprene, all rigorously made in Italy.
The FW 2019 collection is also characterized by the Strobel construction, which makes these shoes extremely flexible, light and comfortable: the upper part is combined with the insole to form a sort of sock. The marbled sole is made of PHYLON rubber that cushions the steps.
CROMIER combines intense, bright and shiny colors, the minimalism of simple geometric shapes, the dynamism of sinuous and decisive lines. But the key element of the brand in this collection is indeed the sole that looks like Carrara marble.
CROMIER is a trademark of the FRAU shoe factory
The CROMIER collection is the result of a long footwear tradition combined with the use of innovative techniques.
Born in 1952, the Calzaturificio Frau Spa produces footwear for men and women in Italy with the best materials and deep knowledge of artisan manufacturing techniques.
The production is carried out in the factories located in the province of Verona, one of the main footwear districts in Italy. Today Frau remains a family business, led by the second generation, that continues to support Made in Italy with commitment and passion, and aims at sustainable and lasting economic development.
