Get ready for Mardi Gras with a marble inspired make up! Carnival (better known in the States as Mardi Gras) is approaching, and at least in Europe and South America (where it is much bigger than Halloween) people are all busy preparing their costumes. Carnival is a western Christian and Greek Orthodox festive season that marks the beginning of Lent, the forty-day period before Easter. Carnival it typically involves parades, public street parties and crazy costumes.

Half man and half marble statue carnival make up
There are several ways to play with this idea! You could be transforming in statue like in a Greek myth as a punishment for something you did, or it could be satirical costume: you just got petrified because of something you heard.
