The history of the Vanelli family’s marble began in 1818 when the Duchess Maria Beatrice d’Este granted the Vanelli family the right to excavate Carrara’s white marble.
Since the nineteenth century, Vanelli quarries provided marble for building public works in the most important European capitals.
In 1960, Aldo Vanelli acquired the family quarry called Zona 67.
Today, with the advent of robotics, it is possible to realise complex art works and special projects.
Fiammetta Vanelli is the successor of this extraordinary heritage, the feminine declination of a long family tradition. To model the solid soul of a stone into soft and cozy shapes with a feminine sensitivity: this is the flair of Fiammetta, a fantastic woman of great talent that I had the burden of knowing and working with her.
Fiammetta Vannelli has for many years created two brands for her work: one dedicated to the home collection and one to the world of fashion. Today we will present Zona 67 by Fiammetta V., her precious line of jewels!
Its collection consists of bracelets, necklaces, buttons and cufflinks for men. White statuario, black Portoro, grey Bardiglio, Paonazzo, the marbles from the family quarries are cut as precious stones in an exclusive line of fashion jewellery.
Marble, silver and leather come to life in refined objects that are never trivial!
Her objects combine the thousand-year old Italian artisan tradition with the most advanced technologies and each creation is a unique piece. The materials with which her jewels are made come from the family quarries here in Carrara. The Marble-ous starts from here!
