Carrara, the world capital of marble, is the land of origin and inspiration for Stonecycle®.
Stonecycle® is a brand that operates in the world of design and architecture, born from an idea of three young people from different backgrounds: Francesco Mottini, architect and designer, Marco Borghini and Nicola Borghini, stone entrepreneurs.
More than 60% of the material extracted from the Apuan Alps is discarded or not used because of defects or breakages. From these precious wastes a new life is born, contaminating them with innovative technologies and contemporary design.
Stonecycle® presented its first capsule collection called five senses, which aims to discover and experiment through the marble of the five human perceptions: Sight; Hearing; Smell; Taste; Touch.

SEE through the MARBLE
Glasses limited edition called respectively: Lorano, Crestola, Fantiscritti, Gioia, Campanili, Canalgrande; names of important marble quarries of Carrara.
Green Economy, technology and marble blend together: an ultra thin sheet of marble and a soul carbon durable and lightweight; matter, form and technology come together resultingin six unique models of their kind. The design of nature on each slab of marble makes them unique and unrepeatable items.The glasses are manufactured handmade by skilled artisans, and built on specific customer requirements.
HEAR through the MARBLE
A music station called Saturno.Two caps in fine Calacata Borghini match perfectly, creating a sphere.Through a simple automated system the top cap is raised of a few centimeters, which emits an invisible beam of light: the two hemispheres thus illuminate, generating an impressive display of colors design, reminiscent of the craters of a planet.
Inside it is designed high-fidelity sound system; connected to an application installed on smartphones and wi-fi devices, allow access to the various functions of Spotify, cloudmusic, iTunes, playlists, digital radio, so that our favorite music invade the space, in a powerful and clear, in every note. SMELL through the MARBLE
That smell has the marble? It was the question we posed. And as an answer… Well not him, or rather we have not a definite perception. We have designed a line of compounds jewels: from bracelets to necklaces, passing twins, which contain a dispenser capable of retaining the essence chosen by the wearer. With a simple move will be possible to close the dispenser with the scented fragranceschosen, and donate to the stone a unique personal aroma.

Taste is life; food is essential and indispensable for our survival; faced with this sense, it has made us think of taste with instruments, objects that are part of everyday life and that are indispensable; three plates and three glasses, half marble and half glass, connected asymmetrically. A perfect fusion that combines the transparency of the glass and the design of the marble of the Apuan Alps.
